About 30 nautical miles offshore from Astoria, we came across a huge pod of dolphins and some played around the ship for a while! There were so many dolphins surrounding the ship for such a long time, I even took some video of them. Hundreds of them!
Most of these are Pacific white-sided dolphins. The ones without dorsal fins are northern right whale dolphins. Amazing!
